Currencycloud has multiple APIs that form the essential building blocks of a cross-border payment. Developers are able to select and integrate the components they wish to use in order to create a custom solution that works for them. However, some of the API calls are not compatible with others.
One of the main features is the Balances API that allows users to hold multiple currencies in a virtual ledger. Users are able to fund to, convert from, and pay out using balances to speed up the delivery of funds to a beneficiary bank account.

Currencycloud also allows users to make individual conversions or group conversions in to settlements without using Balances API.
